For the better part of my life, I have lived in the service of boats and made a great life in the process. In 1988, my parents decided to buy a boat and circumnavigate. As a teenager, I left the U.S. and sailed to far-flung tropical paradises, repaired boats in improbable circumstances, and didn’t die sailing through a hurricane. Circumnavigation left me with a lifetime of experience before I hit 20.

After returning to the States in 1993, I met my wife Laurie and we started our family. But, once you get salt water in your blood, it’s hard to go work in a cubicle, so I’ve chosen to continue my career selling yachts, sharing my expertise with owners, and making sure anyone that wants own a boat has a great time doing it.
